I want to motivate you, Yes exactly you to become a Genuine Cybersecurity Experts, not the mediocre one!!

Now let me come to the point One year ago I met my cousin who had just finished his engineering in Computer Science with a pretty Good Scoring and as far as I know, he is an intelligent guy but was wondering what next…

Considering me as an experienced IT guy, He slowly started a conversation asking “Which domain is having more scope??” and what exactly I do…
My first response after hearing his question was “what are you Interested in”??
He started playing Victim of not being aware of the exact Domains in IT.
After being probed a bit, he started speaking about Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning.
Soon after hearing these two trendy words from him… I Stopped him and asked him why this and how he got to know about only these two domains…
His Answer was from Newspaper Article…

This reminded me of the Advertisement of Educational institute which projected if one selects computer science everyone followed him thinking about the same sound word “HAVING SCOPE”.

It was hilarious as they tried showing a Sheep herd…

Sometimes I hate these newspapers or media, Institutions, Teachers, or whichever source it may be which tries to play with student’s careers for the sake of making money or for whatever reason, as it wrongly influences the fresh and innocent student minds.
Sorry I had to say this because it’s a FACT that hardly anyone notices it, even if noticed they might ignore thinking of “stability Assurance” which this word SCOPE might give them, Assuming up the things and by not cross-checking the facts.

This “having Scope in future” idea has been going on and on for long, But not sure why major of them is not realizing the fact that every DOMAIN in each and every sector will have its own importance and priority or necessity which a company cannot run without. So please get this fact injected into your mind.

If you choose the Domain-based on the High Salary Package or the stability, then it’s a big downfall… I would say never do this forever…
And it’s a BIG “NO” from my side.

Just imagine if a “Janitor profession” hadn’t existed at all, Would you or I be able to clean the restrooms while working in our offices or elsewhere.
Well, probably If the same media or other sources would have shown you the add stating a Janitor getting 1core Starting package and having huge scope then you might be at least trying to notice this Add and slowly people start to comment on it and that’s how our so-called SCOPE gets created.
Also, remember one more thing here even if you are a janitor and master your work of cleaning you can open your own company of Janitor services someday… This applies to whatever domain or sector you be in.
So Kindly slow down a bit and listen to me, What I am trying to explain you all here is everyone on this earth will undergo with this situation and I am sure of this question popping into your mind” Which domain will have more scope in future”

Next time when you are in this situation just PAUSE. No matter what and remember what I said above this will affect your entire life its True…

Now Wondering HOW…

It’s always about interest and hard work which matters while working…Which you should be feeling to put in after getting to know about it in detail.
So for Cyber Security, I’ll try my best to give you actual and real-world corporate facts via my Cybersecurity Stories in my future blogs based on my true ground-level experience.

No matter what, always ask yourself these two below questions and then decide if you have to take it up or not.
Here it Goes…
The first question “AM I Interested in this field genuinely”
And
The second one is “Will I be able to work in it my entire life even if I am not interested”

So now you might be wondering about my second question. Yes, it’s a fact in the Corporate world to adjust with a domain you get and find Happiness in it.. this matters a lot during various scenarios.

Why I’m saying this is as I mentioned earlier each domain as its own level of scope and will have scope forever.If by any chance the Technology or domain gets evolved. Don’t worry, it’s you are the one who will be hired for those newly replaced technologies.
Yes, it is true because no one can or so far as invented something entirely different from the prior technologies.
So it’s always connected and interrelated… Especially in the IT world, it never happens so you are safe in whatever domain you get into until you keep increasing your competence.

if you somehow get your aspired domain then you are lucky, But ensure to keep your interest within you at the same level forever and always work with love this will surly create Wonders which you might not even imagine…

And If you didn’t get it, then no need to bother much about it. Just do what you get with your complete 100% efforts and hoping for the best and being optimistic just ensure to be master in it. If you do this, I’ll assure you will realize what you did was right one day.

Wait, let me remind you of the question “What is the scope of Cyber Security?”

Don’t worry this is just a beginning, and I wanted to set your intentions right and filter out those who were here only for the sake of hearing about CyberSecurity Domain so-called Scope which is going on since last two years after one or two Ransomware Attack outbreaks…
